This is something we whipped up at Stash last year that we recently re-posted onto Stash’s tumblr. Watching it again made me realize how much I miss spending days doing photo and video shoots or turning Melbourne’s rooftop bars into our office on sunny days.
Stash was started by myself & Hwi, who many refer to as my male equivalent and vice versa. What started off as a fairly serious business plan became a series of weed-induced strokes of genius that, if still relatively cool when we came down from the clouds, we would bring to life. To be honest, I wouldn’t have had it any other way. At 22/23 we could still afford to be somewhat irresponsible and we definitely took advantage of that. Between working our day jobs and both Hwi & I working for Acclaim, we somehow found time to create some pretty cool shit, meet some incredible people and learn plenty of lessons - most of which I’m still holding on to today. Not to mention Stash brought together some of Melbourne’s amazing young talent - photographers, writers, artists, graphic designers…
Now I’m in Hong Kong and my homeboy is tossing between an internship in LA or New York (wherever you go, make sure you’ve got a big comfy couch for me!!!) but I have no doubt in my mind that when the time is right we’ll be joining forces again ;)
