I’d never really thought much of Taipei. But being just a quick hour and a half flight from HKG and having everyone in Hong Kong in my ear saying it’s THE place to eat/party/shop, a weekend there had to be done. So jetted off with my brother, his wife - the trip was a her birthday surprise for her and some friends for a weekend of too much eating and a lot of poolside mojitos. Taipei, who knew?
